Job Description

Within the Robot Software team, you are in charge of optimizing the controllers and the trajectory planning of the robot

  • Identify and characterize the control needs (precision, dynamics)
  • Develop, fine-tune and validate the robot control algorithms
  • Build and develop the trajectory planning strategy in collaboration with the fleet management team
  • Collaborate with the mechatronics & safety teams and suppliers to specify and validate the traction & steering actuators

Preferred Experience

We are looking for a passionate and curious developer highly experienced in robotics control and path planning. A person who is daring, conscientious, curious, and with excellent interpersonal skills.

Your profile

  • MSc or PhD. Areas of specialisation: robotics, control systems
  • Experience of programming in C++;
  • Strong skills in control and path planning ;
  • Very good knowledge of vehicle dynamics ;
  • Good knowledge in safety and actuators dynamics ;
  • Professional level of English proficiency ;
  • Focused on the quality of the code ;
  • Desire to learn and ability to teach ;
  • Desire to work as a team ;
  • Comfortable working in the less formal context of a startup business ;
  • Belief in open source software and sharing with the community ;
